The founders of On Tap Network, Leigh, Angela and Jeff, decided quickly after learning of the devastation in Haiti that they wanted to do something to help.  They are dedicating their next networking event to the people of Haiti. 

Not only are they offering their attendees a chance to donate what they can, they are also donating 10% of the proceeds of this event to the relief effort. 

They are also asking to donate items.  They have partnered up with The Haitian Professionals of Philadelphia and the American Red Cross of Philadelphia to ensure that the money and items donated go directly Haiti.

• Exhibit Space displaying services and/or products, brochures, etc the night of the event. Companies that sell products may do so at this event.  Mention in marketing material. Limited to SIX sponsors.  This includes free evaluations; massage therapy; quotes on services during the event.

• Company logo on ALL sites advertising this event, On Tap Network webiste, hard/soft-copy flyers, social media sites and Eventbrite.

Attending this event will not only build your referral network, but will also be helping a country that does not have the ability and structure to help themselves.  Why do Americans step in and help other countries?  Because we can and we should.  Because the countries that we help don't have the government back-up like we do.  With everything that we go through as a Country, we are very, very lucky that we live where we do.  Whatever your beliefs about this Country and our government are, we are human beings and watching this unfold on TV is hard for anyone.  We won't stop at Haiti...  We'd like to be able to help in our own country and other countries as well.  If you know of any organization or family that needs help, let us know.  We could dedicate our next event to them as well!
